We couldn’t have done this without your help.  Please share our testimonial with your
prospective clients so that they may see what remarkable advisors you have been
to us.

In this tough
housing market, it is a daunting task to be able to move a product
quickly.  In our case, we needed to do it
with lightning speed.  This meant that we
needed to choose the right agents for the marketing of our house and also strategically
come to the right price to be able to generate maximum interest.  If either of these factors were off, it could
mean the death knell and we would’ve been stuck in the selling mode for months
and months.  With the counsel of Lois and
John, we were able to price it correctly and achieve results immediately.  Even though the marketing tools were
beautiful, we didn’t even get a chance to use them.  We received offers before our open house that
following weekend and we accepted an offer that we were happy with, within less
than a week.  “How is that possible in
this economy?” everyone asked.  The
answer:  We were advised well by Lois Fein
and John Schwartz.

from
the all-important pricing of the house, the next important would be the staging
of the product.  John was able to help
stage our home maximizing the beauty and livability of it.  It presented the right “stage” for a
potential new home buyer to see their things in the house.  The agents viewing the home before the open
house were eager to call clients immediately and set up viewing appointments
before the public got there.  It was very
exciting.  Comments like:  “What a gorgeous home” and “This will get
snatched up very quickly” boosted our confidence that we went with the right agents.

 

On a personal
note, we have worked with many agents before who were very professional and did
a good job to cross their T’s and dot their I’s.  Lois is more than that, however.  She offers warmth and strong comfort that you
will be taken care of and you know it’ll be taken care of.  When she says she’ll call you, she does.  When you need to get a hold of her, even for
trivial things, she’s there for you.  She
reminds you to de-clutter a countertop before a showing and to get forms and
certificates to your lawyer to make for a smoother closing.  She can be a tough executive agent with warm
motherly tones and yet stay professional throughout.  She has made this usually anxious process
unusually smooth and relaxing.  Thank you

Hi John!

I’m
typing this e-mail from our new home, which is gorgeous and promises to
look even better after I finish all the unpacking and all my projects.  

 

With
all the moving hustle of the previous two weeks we haven’t had a
chance to really express how thankful we are for all you have done to
make it
happen. We truly appreciate all the efforts you put in arranging
the second appraisal for us to get the mortgage we needed to buy our
first house. With all the craziness that is going on in all the
financial
structures nowadays we were really lucky to have

Lois worked incredibly




hard for our family and helped us sell our condo

Thanks Lois.  Things are great here!  There’s a
lot of work to do, but it’s already starting to feel like home.

You know that I can’t say enough about all that you did for me.  I knew
after my first conversation with you, that you were head and shoulders above
any other realtor I had met.  Not only were you familiar with all of the
areas that I was looking at moving to, you knew the details of each building,
along with their amenities, transportation and shopping options and overall
value.  You listened to what I wanted, helped me narrow down my choices
and made sure that I got everything I asked for.  And if that wasn’t
enough, you got me at better price than I could have ever imagined.  I

    It takes more than a for sale sign in the yard
or an MLS listing to sell a property. I enthusiastically recommend Lois Fein as
a highly skilled, creative, professional realtor.  If you are trying to
sell a condo or home in Northern New Jersey, you will not find another person
who will work harder for you.  She gets the job done using her experience,
dedication and a great eye for detail.
  In
today’s market, a home will not sell itself and in my case, it was a bigger
challenge. The condo was vacant, I live out of state and this particular
property had received some inaccurate press that just made a bad situation
worse.  For 2 years it sat empty with little traffic, two failed offers
and a huge lack of communication between the previous realtor and me.  It
was obvious to me when I popped in for an unannounced visit and found a very
dirty apartment filled with fruit flies, streaked windows and dust everywhere,
that I had the wrong realtor. 

 

     So out of
desperation I searched the internet and luckily found Lois.
  I read a testimonial about her and now I
write my own unsolicited story to anyone who will read this.
  I hired Lois in September, 2009. We sold the
condo in January, 2010 – less than 90 days later.
  As an out of town owner, I had to rely on
Lois to recommend and then coordinate all repairs, taking cost into account and
getting the jobs done fast and correct.  After the mini face lift she had
done to the condo, she had a professional photographer take high resolution
photos.
  If only I had the before and
after pictures of what my prior realtor was putting out compared to these
breathtaking professional, magazine quality photos prepared by Sotheby’s. 
Lois recommended virtual staging vs. actual staging which saved me thousands of
dollars. Other realtors don’t even know about this process.

      Lois is very
frugal and creative with her clients’ money.  Other realtors who I
interviewed tried to talk me into spending lots of money on items that I did
not feel would be noticed.  Lois has the eye to see the potential and the
skill to market your property rather than relying on the property to sell
itself. 

 

     Once we prepared
the condo for sale, even in this terrible economy, we had lots of interest
right away.
  A bonofide offer came in
less than 2 months.  Lois also proved to be a savvy negotiator.  Lois
knew all the necessary real estate rules as well as information about the Roc
Harbour rules. I think I would have lost the sale without her expertise.

 

     The only way I
can truly thank her for all that she has done for my family is to tell the
world that not all realtors are the same.  She was honest and didn’t try
to over inflate the value of the property to persuade me to sign.  In fact,
she encouraged me to take the time and read the contract and ask her questions
before we took the next step.  When you hire Lois Fein it’s a
partnership.  She treats you as if you were a long time friend.  You
will feel like her only client even knowing that there are many others. To get
the job done right, call Lois Fein.

?Thanks for Solving My Own Housing Crisis?

John and
Lois,

Now that my own personal
housing crisis has come to a successful conclusion I want to say that I can’t
thank you enough for your valuable insight and advice, as well as your actions
on my behalf.

Having had the property on
the market for 18 months (with 2 different brokers) and without so much as a
bidder, in the first fifteen minutes of our first meeting you gave me the best
advice I could have received when you explained that my house had no curb
appeal.  It made me look at the property from the prospective buyer’s
viewpoint, rather than my own as the seller. I realized that if I were that
buyer, I wouldn’t have even wanted to go through the place based on the
exterior.

The money I spent to
correct that was money well spent and this was proven by the fact that within
weeks of putting the property back on the market we had a buyer which led to
our successful closing today.

From the moment we met you in the customs line in Mexico, I knew fate had brought you into our lives for a reason.  The timing couldn’t have been better.  We were looking to sell in a down market in order to move onto the next chapter in our lives.  As first time sellers, we had no idea what to expect, but you left no doubt in our minds that we had made the right decision to work with you.   You took the time to understand our goals and were able to meet them.

“How can we begin to thank you for everything that you have done for us?”

How can we begin to thank you for everything that you have done for us? Making the decision to leave the city was definitely a difficult one for us, but with your guidance, and expertise the transition was easy.  

When we first spoke with you, we didn’t know where to begin, but you made everything easy starting with showing different areas, advising and guiding us through the purchase of our first home.   I know that there were endless challenges (and lots of indecision) but you were patient and kind, supporting us through the entire process.

You consistently went above and beyond, from talking to my parents, putting up with our crazy availability, picking us up at the ferry to show us around.  When the time came, you recommended not only a mortgage broker but helped with an attorney as well, working in conjunction with them while they answered our endless questions, and finalized the purchase of our first home.  You even came to the closing to make sure that everything went smoothly!

Working with you was truly a pleasure ~ you are not only a consummate professional, but a friend as well.  We look forward to seeing you soon and of course, working with you in the future…
