The Borough of Cliffside Park has an estimated population of 23,007.  Cliffside Park was once the home of the Palisades Amusement Park in operation from 1898 until 1971. It was one of the most visited amusement parks in the United States at it’s prime.  

Cliffside Park is a combination of old and new, private homes, town homes, condominiums and rental buildings.

Cliffside Park Government:

The Governing Body of Borough of Cliffside Park is comprised of a Mayor and 6 Council members. The Mayor serves a 4-year term and the Council Members serve 3-year terms.

The Mayor and Council meetings are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Meetings convene at 8pm in the Council Chambers.
